The Glenvar golf team will play a match at the River Course today against Blacksburg and Radford.

The Highlanders aren’t putting up state championship scores this season, but they continue to improve. On Monday at Giles the Highlanders played Alleghany and Radford and shot a 426. Trip Adams led the team with 94, Jake Skelton had 102, Madeline Givens had 110 and Eddie Ball shot 120.

“Three out of four players have improved their scores each round thus far,” said Glenvar coach Ben Amos.

The Highlanders are at Hanging Rock next Tuesday, September 5.
