GRAMMY-winning rock band Halestorm will bring their “nEVEREST Duality Tour” to the Salem Civic Center on Sept. 11, with genre-bending violinist Lindsey Stirling and symphonic metal band Apocalyptica joining the lineup. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 2, at 10 a.m. Prices range from $44.50 to $129.50, with preferred parking available for $10. Tickets can be purchased at the Salem Civic Center Box Office, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or online at Ticketmaster.com.
The tour follows Halestorm’s announcement of Everest, the band’s sixth studio album, which will be released Aug. 8. The record, produced by GRAMMY winner Dave Cobb, explores the band’s two-decade journey with heavy, emotional themes and soaring sonic landscapes. Its first single, “Darkness Always Wins,” was released last week.
“Our album Everest is a story of our journey as a band, full of beautiful endings and new beginnings,” said lead singer Lzzy Hale. “We weave a tangled web of melancholy, frustration, anger and the vast purgatory of love and love lost. Everest is an auditory representation of the four pillars of Halestorm.”
Stirling, known for blending classical violin with electronic and dance elements, has released four chart-topping albums and earned two Billboard Music Awards. She will bring her signature mix of musical virtuosity and high-energy performance to the tour.
Finnish cello metal band Apocalyptica, known for their classically infused rock sound, will open the show.
