The Andrew Lewis sports teams will take on Hidden Valley today in baseball, softball and soccer. The baseball team is at Kiwanis Field, the softball team is at Hidden Valley, the boys soccer team is at Lewis and the girls play soccer at Hidden Valley.

Last Thursday Andrew Lewis and Glenvar hooked up in sports with mixed results. Lewis won the baseball game at Green Hill Park, 11-2. Eli Bowery got the win and Trenton Bower pitched effectively to close out the game.  Jack Routt stroked two singles among several contributors in the balanced attack.

At Moyer Glenvar defeated the Wolverines, 21-1.

“The girls did a fine job of playing in positions they have never played before,” said coach Morgan Davis. “We had a lot of girls out injured and out sick so we had a lot of moving around to do and adapt to the new positions.”

The Lewis boys shut out Glenvar in soccer at Glenvar, 6-0. Goals were scored by Jordi Berroteran, Alex Benne, Sam Walker, Will Clemens, Kaleb Ray, and Matteo Collins.

The girls played at Lewis and the Wolverines won, 3-0.

“The girls are playing at a high level right now,” said AL assistant Bob Palleria.
