National Library Card Sign-up Month continues this month, so it’s a great time to learn about the continuing learning resources available with your library card on the Salem Public Library website: www.salemlibrary.info
Click on the research tab to view everything the Salem Library has to offer. The list itself is overwhelming, but you can target your search by clicking on subject headings.
The following databases are available under the subject heading for “Resources for Topical Learning.”

Live and on-demand classes include Meditation, Tai Chi & Qigong, Exercise, Stress Management, Caregiving, Beginning Watercolor, Healthy Eating, Cooking, Technology, Travel, and much more! To register for Live Sessions, you will need to create an account with “Get Set Up.”

4. Great Courses Library Collection
Get access to the popular learning series online using the Libby App. This lecture series used to be available to check out from the library in CD and DVD format. The content is now more portable and accessible using any device instead of having to worry about changing discs. Over 250 unique courses are available to satisfy your curiosity or help you to improve in areas you are passionate about. Just download the Libby App.
The Libby App now requires a PIN/password to log in. Go to www.rvl.info to reset your password (Click on “I forgot my password”) or staff can set you up with a password.
