The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their ODAC Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon and Roanoke College sprinter and jumper Alison Moreau was named ODAC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Moreau, a senior from Lynchburg, competed in four events over two meets and finds herself a top the charts in each discipline following her season-opening weekend. At the Roanoke Division I/Division II Invitational Challenge last Friday and Saturday Moreau finished eighth overall in the 60-meter dash in 8.20-seconds. In addition to being #1 in the ODAC, that time is 23rd in Division III.

She also helped her teammates to a second place finish in the 4×400-meter relay in 4:29.81, and placed third in the high jump at 1.50 meters (4-11.0). Those two marks are 37th and 13th in the country, respectively.

At the Roanoke Division III/NAIA Invitational Challenge, Moreau finished second overall in the 200-meter dash in 27.02-seconds. Her converted time of 26.61-seconds for NCAA rankings sits 11th on the D-III chart.
