The Cregger Center in Salem will be the site of ODAC volleyball tonight as Roanoke College plays host to Emory & Henry at 7 pm.
The Maroons opened their spring season last Friday in Harrisonburg, splitting matches with Lynchburg and host Eastern Mennonite. In the opener against Lynchburg the Maroons rallied from an 0-2 hole to force a fifth set against the Hornets. However, Lynchburg used an 8-2 run to take the finale and the Maroons fell 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 21-25 and 15-9.
Lynsey Bailey recorded 19 kills with Parker Moody and Ryanna Clark adding eight each. Olivia Newman assisted on 34 of the Maroons 49 kills while Kennedy Clemmer registered 23 digs and Newman added 17.
In the second match the Maroons swept Eastern Mennonite in three sets, 25-15, 25-17 and 25-21. Bailey recorded 14 more kills with Angel Ross adding eight. Newman handed out 19 of RC’s 35 assists while Clemmer would lead in digs with 17.
