The Roanoke College men’s soccer team will have a home game when the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament opens Saturday at the sites of the top four seeds.

Roanoke, the second seed, will host Randolph College at 6 pm Saturday at Kerr Stadium. Other first round games have Eastern Mennonite ad top-seeded Lynchburg, Bridgewater at third seeded Washington & Lee and Hampden-Sydney at fouth seeded Randolph-Macon. The semifinals will be November 4 at the highest remaining seed and the championship game is Sunday, November 5.

Roanoke improved to 13-4-1 overall and 8-1 in the ODAC with a 3-1 win over Emory & Henry Tuesday in Salem. All three goals came in the first half by Atticus Cooke, Jose Robertson and Cole Thornton.

The Maroons earned a 1-0 win over Eastern Mennonite last Saturday in Harrisonburg. A late goal from Chris Pikunas gave Roanoke the win. After 70 scoreless minutes,  Pikunas scored the game-winner off a corner to give RC a 1-0 advantage.

Nick Tadros made three saves in the final 12 minutes of the contest to secure the win. Tadros made four saves total on the day for the Maroons.
