The Roanoke College men’s soccer team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 3-1 win over North Carolina Wesleyan in Rocky Mount, NC last Friday.
The Maroons led 1-0 at the half on a goal by Brian Manon, assisted by Ed Law. Carter Laatsch increased the lead to 2-0 at the 63 minute mark with an assist from Carolos Lomena. Wesleyan cut the lead to 2-1 at the 76 minute mark but Will Fatzinger’s goal, assisted by Harrison Kraus and Slate Danforth sealed the deal for the Maroons.
The Maroons were scheduled to host William Peace on Tuesday, and this Saturday they’ll host Penn State-Abington at Salem’s Kerr Stadium at 2 pm.
