Roanoke College and USA Lacrosse Hall of Famer Bill Beroza(right) had his jersey retired at halftime of the Maroon lacrosse game with Randolph College at Kerr Stadium Saturday. Beroza is a 1977 graduate of Roanoke College where he was a standout goalie and he went on to fame playing club lacrosse and coaching the Israel national team. Here his former coach at RC, Paul Griffin(left), and former teammate Kin Nevitt(second from left) pose for a photo with the statue of the late John Pirro, who was an All-American and former coach at Roanoke and a beloved teammate of Beroza and Nevitt.
