Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tour’s tournament winners announced

David Ford of Salem, Virginia, was the overall winner of the Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tour’s tournament on July 18 at Ivy Hill Golf Course in Forest, VA.  Playing in Division 3, (handicaps over 22), Ford recorded a net score of 61.  Other Division 3 winners were:  second, Douglas Roper – 63; third, Robert Thomas – 63; fourth, Frank Hart – 65; fifth, Tommy Firebaugh – 65.

In Division 1 (handicaps 0 to 15), Woody Deans of Southwest Roanoke carded a net score of 64 for first place. Other Division 1 winners were: second, Rick Crotts – 65; third, Bruce Glass – 66; fourth, John Krakora – 66; fifth, Tim Prillaman – 67.

Playing in Division 2, (handicaps 16 to 22), Doug Spencer of Rocky Mount, VA finished in first Place with a net score of 62. Other Division 2 winners were: second, Roger Hodges – 64; third, Henry Williams – 66; fourth, Randall Phillips – 67; fifth, Joe Bass – 67. The Low Gross score of 72 went to Woody Deans of Southwest Roanoke.
