The 68th Annual National Day of Prayer will be observed on Thursday, May 3, at Salem Baptist Church, located at 103 N. Broad St. (across from City Hall).  All are invited to attend.

Pre-service music will be presented at 11:45 a.m. Prayers will be offered by local church pastors for the community, state and nation. Proclamation of prayer will be performed by the Salem City Mayor. The service will conclude by the congregation joining in singing “Let There Be Peace on Earth.”
