
The Salem High girls upped their lacrosse record to 7-2 with a 20-4 win over Cave Spring at Spartan Field Monday.
Salem dominated the Knights, led by Anne Thomas who had five goals, an assist, six ground balls and five draw controls. Madison Southern had four goals and three assists and Rylee McNeill had a goal, four assists and five draw controls. Goalie Bailey Redford even scored and had five ground balls.
The Spartans were scheduled to host Franklin County on Wednesday for Senior Night. The girls stay busy with a game at Christiansburg tonight, followed by a game in Roanoke against Patrick Henry on Monday and a home game against Rockbridge County next Wednesday, May 13.
