The annual pet benefit at Salem Moose Lodge #2573, was held Sunday, April 27. All monetary proceeds went to Paws4people, a service dog group and all dog and cat food and supplies went to the Salem Animal Shelter. Randy Powers (Layla) and Scott Graham (Leia) attended the benefit with their dogs for everyone to meet. Ann Whitenack, the organizer of the benefit, along with many volunteers, worked tireless hours collecting donations from the public and area businesses to make this benefit such a great success.
