Color Our World! Summer Reading Sign-up (Ages 0-18) Begins May 17!
Join us to kick off registration for the Summer Reading Program with the Little Critters Petting Zoo on the Salem Library Lawn on Saturday, May 17, 10:30am to 12:30pm. Come hang out with your favorite furry friends! Register online for the Summer Reading Challenge at salemva.beanstack.org and get a free book just for signing up. The Summer Reading Challenge runs from June 1-July 31. Log your reading on beanstack to earn another free book when you finish the challenge, and to qualify for additional prize drawings.
On Tuesday, May 20, at 2pm, adults (ages 18+) are invited for a Library Art Installation Painting Project to paint wooden bird silhouettes to decorate the library for summer reading.
A summer reading challenge for adults will also run from June 1-July 31. Participants will register on salemva.beanstack.org. Completing the challenges will put you in the drawing for the prizes described on our website.
