A Salem City Schools bus carrying two students was rear-ended Monday afternoon by a construction vehicle from a private company, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 3:22 p.m. near the intersection of Thompson Memorial Drive and Cleveland Avenue in Salem.
Both students were reunited with their parents at the scene and evaluated for injuries. Officials said neither child appeared to be hurt.
The bus driver was transported for evaluation with what were described as non life-threatening injuries as a precaution.
The incident remains under investigation by the Salem Police Department.
