Salem’s annual Winterfest Beach Bash will return in February 2026, featuring the Band of Oz at the Salem Civic Center.

The indoor beach party is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. inside the Salem Civic Center arena. The 2026 event marks the 19th consecutive year the Band of Oz has been selected to headline the popular gathering. This year’s concert is sponsored by Renewal by Andersen.

Tickets went on sale at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Salem Parks and Recreation Department, 620 Florida St. Advance tickets are $10, with tickets priced at $12 on the day of the show. Tables seating eight are available for $80. Cash, check and credit cards will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays from Dec. 16 through Feb. 5. Organizers note the event typically sells out.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the band performing from 7 to 10 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Salem Penguin Club’s community service projects. The event is presented by the City of Salem Parks and Recreation Department.

Coolers and outside food or beverages will not be permitted inside the arena. Concessions will be available, including beverages from P.A. Short.

The Band of Oz is a member of the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame and was inducted in 2016 alongside The Avett Brothers, Kellie Pickler and The Carolina Chocolate Drops. The band has performed beach music for nearly 60 years, dating back to 1967.

For additional ticket information, contact Salem Parks and Recreation at 540-375-3057.
