Chance Crawford softball tournament champions

The Roanoke Valley was buzzing with action from the annual Chance Crawford Softball Tournament last weekend. It was the 45th annual fund-raiser in honor of Crawford, who was injured in a football accident at Salem High. Funds initially went to help Chance’s health bills but now the receipts go toward scholarships and needy cause throughout the area. This year’s champions, by division, are the following:

COED Competitive – Turn 2 – Orange, VA

COED Middle – Seeds & Sixers – Landsdown, MD

COED Rec – Goon Squad – Pomeroy, OH

Men’s 40 Plus – Smokes & Cokes – Halifax, VA

Men’s Open – Douglas Reality/BAF – Pasadena, MD

Men’s D – ARS/Craigology – Charlotte, NC

Men’s E – JME Performance – Reidsville, NC

Men’s Rec – RB/NCC – Roxboro, NC

Women’s Upper – She Gone Sport – Woodbridge, VA

Women’s Middle – LA/Gelato/WNF – Jacksonville, NC

Women’s Lower – B2A – Charlotte, NC
