The Glenvar competition cheer team won the Region 2C championship at Glenvar High School last Saturday to advance to the state Class 2 competition. Glenvar and runnerup Graham will compete at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Siegel Center in Richmond. Salem High will also be competing at VCU in the Class 4 competition after finishing second in the Region 4D event at Jefferson Forest High on October 25.
