The Andrew Lewis and Glenvar Middle School volleyball teams will be in action today. Lewis will host William Byrd in Salem and Glenvar is at Floyd.
Both teams played on Monday of this week. Lewis lost in two sets at Read Mountain, 25-21 and 25-21, while Glenvar won their opener at home against Craig County, 25-9 and 25-15.
“Sophie Armes and Kamy Dawyot both had strong serving games,” said Glenvar coach Stephanie Butler. “Corra Hayes was very effective at the net and played great defense.”
Next Tuesday Lewis is at Hidden Valley and Glenvar will be home against Shawsville.
