All Salem precincts will be open for in-person voting from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. All voters will cast their ballots at the Salem Civic Center.

Tuesday, May 27, was the last day to register to vote or update voter information. Registration applications must have been postmarked or submitted online by that date. Same-day registration is available but will be treated as a provisional vote, subject to review before being counted.

Early in-person voting is available at the Salem Registrar’s Office at 19 East Clay Street, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting May 2 through June 13. The office will also be open for early voting on Saturday, June 7, and Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Voters may return completed absentee ballots in person at the following locations:

  • Salem Registrar’s Office: May 2–June 16 during business hours, or anytime via the front-door slot.
  • Salem Civic Center Community Room Lobby: Only on Election Day, June 17, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Hand-delivered ballots must be received by the Registrar’s Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
  • Mailed ballots must be postmarked by June 17 and received by noon on Friday, June 20, to be counted.

The Republican Party will not hold a primary for these offices.
