Students at Salem High School were recognized Friday for participating in the Start on Success program, a partnership with the Salem YMCA and the Salem Civic Center that provided work-based learning opportunities. Markee Calloway, Hunter Chrisley, Korben Falls, Kadeem Jordan and Shaun Rambo assisted YMCA staff with organization, equipment sanitation and greeting visitors, and worked with Civic Center employees to set up and take down event spaces for various functions.
