Members of Salem High School’s Class of 2026 returned to their former schools last week for the annual Senior Walk, revisiting the hallways where their educational journeys began. The 283 graduating seniors, dressed in caps and gowns, traveled by bus to Andrew Lewis Middle School and their former elementary schools, where they were welcomed by current students and reunited with teachers who helped shape their academic careers. The soon-to-be graduates received cheers and applause as they walked through the schools, creating emotional moments with former educators. After returning to Salem High School, the seniors completed one final walk through the halls, where classmates, teachers and parents offered congratulations ahead of commencement exercises Friday afternoon at the Salem Civic Center.
