Glenvar’s Christian Housh slides between two Radford players in last week’s win.

The Glenvar boys finished the regular season with an undefeated soccer record and will be the top seed in the coming Region 2C tournament. The Highlanders will get a first round bye and open with a region quarterfinal game on Friday, March 27.
Glenvar wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 shutout win over Radford last Thursday at Highlander Stadium. The Bobcats took Glenvar to overtime in the first meeting but this time it was all Highlanders as Glenvar outshot Radford, 26-5. GHS keeper Marco Gustafson needed to make just two saves.
Riley Geddes scored early to get Glenvar going and finished with two goals and an assist. Erwin Montanez had the other goal and Jacson Shepherd and Wesley Feliciano both had assists.
With the win the Highlanders finished with a 15-0-1 record. In the two years Josh Jones has been head coach Glenvar is 28-1-1 with two Three Rivers District championships.
